MINNEAPOLIS - The Wisconsin men’s basketball team will go for their 20th win of the season tonight at Minnesota.
The 14th-ranked Badgers are 9-4 in the Big Ten, a game-and-a-half behind front-running Michigan State. And they’re 19-6 overall, coming off a home win over Indiana.
he Badgers say it’s uncertain whether forward Jon Leuer will play. He practiced this week for the first time since breaking his left wrist on January 9th against Purdue.
Minnesota comes in after back-to-back losses to Michigan and Northwestern. The Gophers are 5-7 in the conference and 14-10 overall, and they’ve lost six-of-their-last-eight. Still, the Gophers are the highest-scoring team in the Big Ten. Senior guard Lawrence Westbrook leads Minnesota with almost 13-and-a-half points a game.
