Salmons scored 18 points and hit the game-clinching three-pointer as Milwaukee held off the Detroit Pistons 91-85. Carlos Delfino and Ersan Ilyasova scored 16 points apiece.
Ilysova added a dozen rebounds. Salmons hit his long-range jumper with 16 seconds left to give the Bucks an 88-84 lead. Three free throws in the final seconds sealed the deal. Detroit hit its first 11 shots jumping out to an early lead, but the Bucks had taken over by half time. Detroit knocked it down to a one-point lead with four minutes to go, but could never go ahead.
