Ellsworth High School girls' basketball team saw its winning ways come to an end Tuesday as New Richmond crushed them 48-33 at home.
The Panthers recorded 19 steals and converted the turnovers into 32 points, but cold shooting from the outside kept Ellsworth from catching up to the Tigers.
EHS had no one in double figures in scoring unlike previous games. Shannon Campbell led the Panthers with nine points and teammate Kayla Christopherson added eight.
The loss puts Ellsworth two games in back of Durand for first place in the Middle Border Conference. They are tied with Osceola where they travel to for their next game Thursday. Durand is at Prescott.
