The Ellsworth School District is having a session on Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Lindgren Early Learning Center for screening and registration for children attending regular kindergarten (for children five-years-old by Sept. 1). “What’s Cool in Your School?”
Kim Insley from KARE 11 TV visited Ellsworth Middle School on Jan. 27 to film a segment for “What’s Cool in Your School?” The Adopt-A-Pilot segment, featuring EHS graduate Ryan Streifel who’s a pilot for Southwest Airlines in Minneapolis, will air on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 6:20 a.m. It should re-air on the 4 p.m. news show, but that’s not a guarantee.*

Moonlight Snowshoe Hike
Join Carpenter Nature Center, northwest of Prescott, on Friday, Feb. 26, from 7-9 p.m. for a snowshoe hike. Snowshoes provided or bring own. Dress appropriately for the weather; recommended for ages 10 and up. Call 651-437-4359 for reservations.
