OKLAHOMA CITY (Sports Network) - Kevin Durant led seven Thunder players in double figures with 25 points, as Oklahoma City crushed Minnesota, 109-92.
Russell Westbrook just missed a triple-double with 18 points, 15 assists and eight rebounds for the Thunder, who avoided dropping three straight on the heels of a nine-game winning streak.
Serge Ibaka scored 14 points, while Jeff Green had 13 for the victors.
Kevin Love posted 19 points and eight rebounds for the Timberwolves, losers in eight of their last nine overall. Ryan Gomes added 10 and seven, and Al Jefferson netted 12 points in defeat.
The Thunder led 30-19 after the first quarter but failed to hit a field goal over the opening five minutes of the second frame.
Minnesota pulled within 37-35 on Love's reverse layup with 4 1/2 minutes left, but Oklahoma City ended the half on an 18-6 run, as Nenad Krstic's jumper beat the halftime buzzer for a 55-41 lead.
Three Durant free throws finished off a 14-2 spurt for the hosts midway through the third, yielding a healthy 71-49 cushion.
Oklahoma City's 84-65 advantage heading to the fourth was never seriously threatened in the final stanza.
