Wisconsin’s Lisa Stone has been named the Big Ten women’s basketball Coach-of-the-Year by her colleagues.

Stone has led the Badgers to a 20-and-9 overall record and a first-round bye in this week’s Big Ten Tournament. It’s her first Big Ten honor in seven years at Madison.

Wisconsin junior Alyssa Karel was named to the all-conference second team by both the coaches and the league’s media. Senior Rae Lin D’Alie was picked to the third team by the media, and was a coaches’ honorable mention. Jantel Lavender of Ohio State is the consensus Player-of-the-Year. The media chose Lisa Bluder of Iowa as the Coach-of-the-Year.
