Notre Dame tops Marquette in overtime

Still, Notre Dame is glad to have him back in time for next week's Big East Conference Tournament. He had five points and two rebounds. Notre Dame scored late to tie in regulation, then scored the first five points in OT to seal the win.

Jimmy Butler scored 16 points and took down eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles. Marquette was hurt badly when Lazar Hayward fouled out. He finished with 18. The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for the Eagles. They take a 20-10 record into the conference tournament.
