Edna D. Ottman, age 86, of Plum City, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at the Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand.

Edna was born on August 11, 1923, in rural Alma, Buffalo County. She was the daughter of Roy and Viola (Buccholtz) Iberg. Edna grew up for a short while in the Alma area before she moved with her family to Plum City and graduated from the Plum City High School. After high school, Edna married Kenneth “Red” Ottman and made their home in the Plum City area their entire life. Edna drove school bus and cooked for the school in Plum City her entire working career. Red died in 1982.

Edna enjoyed cooking for anyone, sewing, playing cards, crocheting and making quilts. Most of all, she loved to spend time with family and friends.

Edna is survived by her one son, James (Kathy) of Rock Springs, Wyo.; two daughters, Kae (Mike) Harmon and Sandy (Dan) LeBrec, both of Plum City; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Jess, Lisa, Lori, Teresa, Bridget and Spencer; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters, Sophia and Gloria; one brother, Will (Carlene) Iberg of Piggeot, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth “Red.”

Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at the Plum City United Methodist Church in Plum City. Rev. John Hazen will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
