Minnesota Sports- Coach Brad Childress said Friday that free agent LaDainian Tomlinson would be "1A" to Adrian Peterson's "1" if he signed with the Vikings
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Coach Brad Childress said Friday that free agent LaDainian Tomlinson would be "1A" to Adrian Peterson's "1" if he signed with the Vikings.
Tomlinson met with Vikings coaches and other officials Thursday at Winter Park. He's scheduled to fly to New York to meet with personnel with the New York Jets today.
"[Tomlinson] understands that dynamic," said Childress. "I think there's a tremendous admiration of one toward another."
If signed, Tomlinson wouldn't receive a heavier workload than the 2009 version of Chester Taylor, who is more explosive at this stage of their respective careers.
