MILWAUKEE - The sizzling Milwaukee Bucks powered past another hot NBA club for their 11th win in 12 games, whipping Utah 95-87 Friday night.
The Jazz came in pretty hot themselves, having won 23 out of 28. But John Salmons scored 24 points and Brandon Jennings added 23 as Milwaukee won its fifth straight. Andrew Bogut did good work inside with 16 points and a dozen rebounds.
Milwaukee led most of the game, but the Jazz had tied the score at 87 with 36 seconds left. A putback by Ersan Ilyasova put the Bucks up for good. He had rebounded a Bogut miss. Carlos Boozer scored 26 points and took down 14 rebounds for the Jazz. He was thrown out of the game in the closing seconds for berating a referee for a non-call.
