PHOENIX - Rookie prospect Lorenzo Cain's home run gave a Milwaukee Brewer split squad a 7-6 win over Colorado Saturday. The other Brewer squad beat the Chicago White Sox 7-2.
Milwaukee scored twice in the seventh and two more times in the eighth to come from behind against the Rockies. Milwaukee starter Manny Parra had a good outing, allowing just one run in four innings.
In the other game, righty Dave Bush is making a strong bid for the fifth starter's spot. Bush allowed one run and three hits in four innings Saturday in that 7-2 win. The hitting star for Milwaukee was Adam Stern. He tripled in the go-ahead run in the eighth and added a sacrifice fly in the ninth.
