UW-Stevens Point defeated Randolph-Macon 72-60 in the semifinals Division III men's basketball tournament Friday in Salem, Virginia. The Pointers will take on Williams College at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Over in Lake Placid, New York, St. Norbert's men's hockey team defeated Oswego, N.Y. 4-3 in the semifinals of the Division III national tournament. The Green Knights will take on Norwich at 7 p.n. in this evening's championship game.
In the Division III swim meets Kenyon College won the men's title with
UW-Oshkosh finishing 19th, UW-Stevens Point 24th and UW-La Crosse 27th. Emory University won the women's title with UW-La Crosse 8th, Carthage 10th, UW-Stevens Point 13th. Chelsea Hoff of UW-La Crosse was an All-American as she finished 2nd in the 100-yard backstroke
