Port St. Lucie, FL (Sports Network) - Danny Valencia and Wilson Ramos each belted a solo home run in the second inning, as the Minnesota Twins defeated the New York Mets, 7-3, in Grapefruit League play.
Brendan Harris collected two hits and knocked in a pair of runs for the Twins. Kevin Slowey started for Minnesota and gave up one run and three hits over three innings.
Omir Santos hit a solo homer for New York, while Ruben Tejada doubled twice. Starter Johan Santana was tagged for five runs and nine hits in 3 1/3 innings.
