Wisconsin Sports- Milwaukee's Yovani Gallardo pitched five shutout innings and hit a home run to beat the Kansas City Royals 1-0.
PHOENIX - He's going to be the Brewers ace and will likely start the season opener. Yovani Gallardo looked ready Saturday, pitching five shutout innings and hitting a home run to beat the Kansas City Royals 1-0.
Gallardo allowed the Royals only four hits and two walks. Former Brewer Kyle Davies was effective for the Royals, allowing three hits and walking nobody in four innings. He did give up Gallardo's home run.
