Lakers' lose Bynum but beat T-Wolves 104-96

Pau Gasol registered 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Lakers, who lost center Andrew Bynum to a strained left Achilles' tendon in the third quarter. He'll be evaluated on Saturday.
Lamar Odom had 18 points for the Lakers, who have won five in a row and now lead Denver by four games for the top record in the Western Conference. They also became the first team in the West to clinch a playoff spot.
Jonny Flynn scored 20 for Minnesota, which hasn't won since February 23 at Miami. The Timberwolves had 19 turnovers, leading to 26 Los Angeles points.
The Lakers were a sharp 12-of-21 from the field in the first, on the way to a 31-20 lead after 12 minutes. The advantage stood at 59-49 at the half.
