Bucks go for the season sweep against Miami tonight

Wisconsin Sports
-- The Milwaukee Bucks will host Miami tonight.

The Milwaukee Bucks will host Miami tonight. The Bucks dropped another half-game in the playoff race last night when the Heat won at Chicago 103-to-74, while Milwaukee was idle.

Miami moved into the sixth playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, two games behind the Bucks. But Milwaukee has a tie-breaker over the Heat, by virtue of its 3-and-0 record against Miami this season. The Bucks are still four games over the final East playoff holder, Toronto – and Milwaukee’s magic number for a post-season spot remains at six.

Miami comes into the Bradley Center winning 9-of-its-last-12. The Bucks have won 15-of-their-last-18, and are eight games above .500. Meanwhile, the Bucks have acquired forward Darnell Jackson off waivers from Cleveland. The Cavaliers released him after they re-acquired center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Jackson will not be eligible for the playoffs because he was waived after March 1st.
