The Wisconsin softball team shut-out Northern Illinois at home Wednesday, 2-0.
The Badgers scored both their runs in the sixth inning, on RBI singles from Theresa Boruta and Livi Abney.
Leah Vanevenhoven went all the way and struck out seven, as the Badgers improved to 14-35 overall.
Northern Illinois fell to 15-34.
