CHARLOTTE - John Salmons was red hot, but Charlotte's Stephen Jackson matched him point-for-point in the Bobcats' 87-86 overtime win Friday night.

The loss dropped Milwaukee behind hard-charging Miami in the Eastern Conference standings. That was a second straight tightly-contested loss for the Bucks.

Salmons scored 28 points by hitting 12-of-22 shots. Jackson scored 32. Andrew Bogut had a good game with 19 points and a dozen rebounds, but it wasn't enough. Carlos Delfino returned from his head injury to score 14 for Milwaukee, but he wasn't shooting well. Salmons finished the physical game with a bandage covering stitches in his forehead.
