PRESCOTT - Prescott High School's softball team routed Spring Valley-Plum City 16-0 in both teams season opener Tuesday in Prescott.
The match-up was scheduled to be a double-header but rain cut that plan short. And Cardinal pitcher Kallie Krech cut the first game short as she tossed a no hitter in three and half innings of work.
Krech, Mary Kate Pryor and Sammy Hansen each had two hits for Prescott, which hosts Ellsworth Thursday.
