Home runs by Xavier Nady, Jeff Baker and Aramis Ramirez made a winner out of starter Ryan Dempster. Both teams now have 3-4 records.
Brewer left fielder Ryan Braun hit a three-run homer in the fifth and drove in four runs. Doug Davis gave up six earned runs in three and a third innings to absorb the loss.
