EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Vikings signed fullback Nafahu Tahi to a restricted free agent tender yesterday.
The Vikings have the right to match any offer Tahi receives from another team. If they don't match an offer, the Vikings would not only lose Tahi, they would also not receive compensation. There are reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have shown an interest in Tahi, who's been with the Vikings for the past four seasons.
Still not signed to restricted free agent tenders are quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and defensive end Ray Edwards. The deadline for restricted free agent to sign offer sheets is tomorrow.
