Minnesota Sports- The Lynx added to their training camp roster by signing Nuria Martinez, who played for the Spanish national team in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
MINNEAPOLIS - The Lynx added to their training camp roster by signing Nuria Martinez, who played for the Spanish national team in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.
Martinez is 26 years old and was on the suspended list for the Lynx the past five seasons. She was claimed by the Lynx from Sacramento off waivers in 2004.
The Lynx start training camp on Sunday at Target Center, with their first preseason game scheduled for April 30th against Chicago at Ganglehoff Arena in Saint Paul. The regular season WNBA opener for the Lynx is May 15th at Tulsa.
