Minnesota Sports- Wild forward Mikko Koivu is getting ready for two surgeries. He's back home in Finland, where he'll have arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder and his right knee
ST. PAUL - Wild forward Mikko Koivu is getting ready for two surgeries. He's back home in Finland, where he'll have arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder and his right knee.
Koivu decided to have the operations near his home so he could be with his family during his rehabilitation. He'll need four months before his shoulder is healed, while rehab for his right knee should take about four weeks.
Wild defenseman Cam Barker is recovering from surgery to remove loose particles from his right ankle. He needs about a month of rehabilitation before getting back on the ice.
