Panthers continue on top of MBC with win

Ellsworth High School's baseball team used a three-run third inning and a four-run fourth inning to win on the road Friday at Baldwin.

BALDWIN - Ellsworth High School's baseball team used a three-run third inning and a four-run fourth inning to win on the road Friday against Baldwin-Woodville.

Panther Pitcher Tim Green threw two innings of relief to hold Ellsworth's lead at five. Tanner Eggenberger went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run. Taylor Johnson went 3-for-3 at the plate.

The Purple stay on top of the Middle Border Conference standings but another big game looms Monday as EHS travels to New Richmond.
