Minnesota Sports- Minnesota's three-day rookie camp begins today.
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Vikings open a three-day rookie camp today at Winter Park. The workouts will give the coaches their first practice time with the team's eight draft picks as well as the ten free agent rookies that signed.
In addition, the team will look at several players who haven't signed contracts, but will be trying out for the team. That group includes cornerback Marcus Sherels of Rochester and defensive tackle Barrett Moen of Bloomington, both former Golden Gophers.
