Twins back to winning ways as they beat Cleveland 9-3

Justin Morneau, who missed the last two games with a sore back, added a two- run homer, while Joe Mauer and Michael Cuddyer each had two hits and an RBI for the Twins, who are coming off their first series loss of the season after winning the first six.
Kevin Slowey (3-2), who had his start moved up due to Nick Blackburn's going on the family medical emergency list, lasted only five innings but earned the win, allowing three runs and nine hits while striking out six.
Jhonny Peralta tripled as part of a 3-for-4 day at the plate for the Indians, who have lost four of five. Grady Sizemore and Travis Hafner each had two hits and an RBI in defeat.
Fausto Carmona (3-1), coming off four consecutive quality starts to open the season, yielded six runs, eight hits and two walks in six frames for his first loss of the year.
Minnesota got on the board in the first on Morneau's blast to center, which also scored Mauer, who singled with two outs.
The Twins tacked on three more runs in the second for a 5-0 lead.
