Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Asdrubal Cabrera's RBI single in the 11th inning lifted the Cleveland Indians to a 5-4 win over the Minnesota Twins in the middle portion of a three-game set.

With Alex Burnett (0-1) on the mound in the 11th, Travis Hafner walked, Jhonny Peralta doubled to left and Russell Branyan was intentionally walked to load the bases. Jesse Crain then took mound and got the next two batters out, but Cabrera plunked a single to right to score the winning run.

Cabrera went 2-for-5 with a run scored. Grady Sizemore had two hits, an RBI and a run scored, and Peralta added a solo home run for the Indians, who had dropped their previous two games. Justin Masterson went 7 2/3 innings in the start and gave up four runs on 10 hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Jamey Wright (1-1) got the win for retiring the final two batters in the 11th.

Denard Span went 3-for-5 with a home run and two runs scored. Justin Morneau had a solo home run and Jim Thome drove in two for the Twins, who have dropped three of four. Jeff Manship went six innings and was charged with two runs on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts.

Minnesota catcher Joe Mauer was out of the lineup for the game with a bruised left heel he suffered in Friday's game. He is listed as day-to-day.

The Twins plated two runs in the first as Thome hit a single with the bases loaded to plate two runners, and Span made it a 3-0 game when he clubbed a 2-1 pitch into the right field seats in the second inning.

Cleveland got a run back in the second as Peralta nailed a 3-1 pitch into the seats in left.

The Indians made it a one-run game in the third as back-to-back singles from Mark Grudzielanek and Lou Marson was followed by a double-play groundout from Cabrera to plate a run.

In the eighth, Morneau hit a two-out homer to left to give Minnesota a 4-2 lead.

Cleveland, though, tied the game in the bottom of the frame off Matt Guerrier. With two outs, Cabrera singled to right and came home when Sizemore doubled to center. Shin-Soo Choo then singled to right to plate Sizemore.
