CLEVELAND - Wilson Ramos went four-for-five in his major league debut and Francisco Liriano struck out nine in seven innings to lead the Twins to an 8-3 win over the Indians yesterday in Cleveland.

Ramos was called up from Class Triple-A Rochester late Saturday and singled in his first major-league at bat off Indians starter David Huff. He had two more singles and a booming double off the center field wall to become the first Twins rookie to get four hits in his first major league game since Kirby Puckett did it on May 8th, 1984.

Liriano made an error, committed a balk and gave up two runs in the first inning, but settled down for his fourth win without a loss.

Orlando Hudson, Jim Thome, and Delmon Young all homered for the Twins, who went five-and-four on their three-city road trip and begin a nine-game homestand today when they host the Detroit Tigers are Target Field.
