No. 9 Ellsworth baseball tops No. 8 Osseo-Fairchild 7-4 in extra innings

OSSEO - Ellsworth broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the eighth inning with four runs that led to a non-conference win over Osseo-Fairchild Saturday at Merchants' Park.

Osseo-Fairchild tied the game at four in the bottom of the seventh inning. The Chieftains are ranked No. 8 in Division 3

Panthers pitcher Brady Schroeder earned the win by shutting down O-F over the final inning and a third.

Tim Green went 3-for-4 with two singles and a triple with two RBIs.

Ellsworth will make up Friday's rained-out game with Amery at 5 p.m. in Hager City.
