Kongshaug ~ Schloemer

SPRING VALLEY—Fallon Kongshaug became the bride of Nathan Schloemer in October of 2009. The 2 p.m. wedding ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Pastor Shawn Kauffeld officiating.

Parents of the couple are Rodney and Cindy Kongshaug of Spring Valley and John and Carleen Schloemer of Watertown. Grandparents of the bride are Bev Erickson and the late Don Erickson and Dolores Kongshaug and the late Ken Kongshaug. Grandparents of the groom are the late Howard and Genieve Schloemer and the late Roy and Carlotta Unsin.

Matron of Honor was Annie Kongshaug (sister-in-law of the bride). Bridesmaids were Lindsay Schloemer (sister of the groom), Kelly Keating and Ivy Marvel (friends of the couple). Flower girl was Isabella Kongshaug (niece of the bride).

Best Man was Eric Swenson (friend of the couple). Groomsmen were Jordan Kongshaug (brother of the bride), Steve Singh and Joshua Wright (friends of the couple). The ring bearer was Cole Smyk (cousin of the groom). Ushers were Matt Schmidt, Chad Zdroik, Andy Joanis and Ben Heninger (friends of the couple).

A reception was held at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, The wedding party performed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” at the reception to rave reviews.

The groom holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from UW-Madison. He is currently a second year pediatric resident physician at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. The bride holds a Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Madison and will graduate medical school this May from Midwestern University in Chicago. She will be starting a neurology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee this July.

The Schloemers are currently living in Chicago.
