Ellsworth golf team has season best showing in MBC meet
Ellsworth shot a 373 at the Middle Border Conference 18-hole tournament Tuesday at Kilkarney Hills Golf Course and placed sixth. It was their best 18-hole score of the season.

For the season, the Panthers finished eighth in the 12-team league with 54 points.
EHS' Aaron Knutson shot an 86 and teammate Zac Lofgren was second on the team with a 92 while Joey Henning shot a 96. Sam Huppert's 99 was the fourth score to count for the Panthers. Tyler Samuel had a 113.
Somerset finished first in the tournament with a 328; however, the Spartans came up just short of the league title. Osceola won the conference championship with 100 points.
