Barn fire in Oak Grove
Firefighters from Prescott and the surrounding area battled a barn fire around 11:15 a.m. this morning at N4259 State Highway 35 in the Town of Oak Grove.

No animals were injured in a barn fire this morning at N4259 State Highway 35 in the Town of Diamond Bluff. Prescott Fire Chief Bill Dravis said the Fire Department was on scene for nearly three hours and were assisted by Ellsworth, River Falls and Hastings Fire.

Firefighters from Prescott and the surrounding area battled a barn fire around 11:15 a.m. this morning at N4259 State Highway 35 in the Town of Oak Grove.
Pierce County tax records show Nancy J. Beeler as the owner. Prescott Fire Chief Bill Dravis said it's too early to determine what caused the fire. He did state it started in the east end of the building, where he was told most of the tools were located.
No animals were injured.
