T-Wolves working out prospects for upcoming draft

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Timberwolves worked out 12 potential draft prospects yesterday at the Target Center. More than 40 players will work out in front of Timberwolves front office personnel this week.
The 12 prospects displaying their skills yesterday were Michigan's Manny Harris, Virgnia's Sylven Landesberg, Cincinnati's Lance Stephenson, Connecticut's Stanley Robinson, Mississippi's Jarvis Varnado, Ryan Richards from England, Syracuse's Andy Rautins, Kansas State's Denis Clemente, Oklahoma's Tommy Mason-Griffin, Texas A&M's Donald Sloan, Iowa State's Craig Brackens, and Latavious Williams of the NBA's Developmental League.
In addition to Timberwolves personnel, there are more than 100 coaches and scouts from other NBA teams watching the workouts. Twelve more prospects are scheduled to work out in two separate sessions today.
