Heat sheets released for state track and field meet

A grand total of 37 athletes in 26 events spread across two divisions, boys and girls, will be competing at the WIAA State Track and Field meet from Pierce County.
The meet takes places over two days, next Friday and Saturday, at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse.
Ellsworth will be represented by Abbey Ristow in the discus.
Spring Valley's competitors include Mitch Samuel in the 100-meter dash, Katelyn Neck and Aarynn Deutsch in the high jump and Breanna Colbenson in both the 1600 and 3200-meter runs.
Representing Prescott will be Joe Smith in the 400, Cole Geiger in the long jump, Ty Stees in the shot put, the Cardinals 1600 meter relay teams, boys and girls, Amy Carroll in the 400-meter dash, Victoria Simones in both the mile and two-mile runs and Autumn Stees in the 800-meter run.
Elmwood-Plum City's contingent includes Jenna Reitz in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, Becky Hartung in the 800, the 1600-meter relays team both boys and girls, the boys' 3200-meter relay team, Gabe Rodriguez in the 200 and 400, Alex Hartung in the shot put, Alex Gilles in the 800 and Nick Kernstock in 110-meter high hurdles.
