Brewers blow lead again, lose to Marlins

MIAMI - The Milwaukee Brewers blew a 4-0 lead on Memorial Day, and got crushed at Florida 13-5.
The Marlins had scored just once in their last 29 innings when they exploded for seven runs in the sixth, highlighted by a three-run homer from Cody Ross. The Fish then scored four more times in the seventh to blow the game wide open. That included Cameron Maybin's inside-the-park homer, the first for Florida since Opening Day of last season.
Brewers' starter Chris Narveson had eight strikeouts before he ran out of gas in the sixth. He got tagged for five runs on six hits and a pair of walks, and the loss dropped Narveson to 4-3. Marlins' reliever Jorge Sosa got the win, getting the final two outs in the sixth to go 1-0. Ross drove in four runs, with a run-scoring double to go with his decisive homer. Ronny Paulino went 3-for-4, as Florida out-hit Milwaukee 14-9 to win its second straight after losing four-in-a-row. Corey Hart drove in two with a solo homer and a run-scoring grounder. Rickie Weeks hit a pair of RBI singles, and Ryan Braun had a run-scoring double. The Brewers lost their second straight after winning five-of-six.
Milwaukee is now one game below .500 on the road, and is 21-30 overall. They'll play the Marlins near Miami again tonight. Right-hander Dave Bush starts against Florida right-hander Ricky Nolasco.
