Lynx snap losing streak with win over Phoenix

Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Monica Wright went 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, on the way to scoring a career-best 32 points, as Minnesota snapped a five-game skid with a 92-82 victory over the Phoenix Mercury.

Rebekkah Brunson tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Lynx, who hadn't won since a season-opening 80-74 decision at Tulsa. Lindsay Whalen scored 11 in the win.

Diana Taurasi had 21 points, but also accounted for six of Phoenix's 15 turnovers. That led to 20 Minnesota points. Penny Taylor scored 15 and Temeka Johnson 14 for the Mercury, who dropped their second in a row.
