EDEN PRAIRIE - Vikings players are back on the practice field today for the final day of Organized Team Activities this week.

It's the 12th day of OTA's for the Vikings, who have two more days of voluntary practice on the schedule. But coach Brad Childress indicates he could give the players both days off in preparation for the beginning of mandatory minicamp.

That starts a week from today and lasts through June 13th. After that, the players have time to themselves until they have to report to Mankato for the start of training camp. The Vikings' first preseason game is August 14th at Saint Louis, with the season opener coming the night of September 9th at New Orleans.
