Minnesota Sports
- Starting Pitcher Scott Baker gives up 11 hits and three home runs in five innings as Mets win 6-0.

NEW YORK - Scott Baker was raked for 11 hits in less than five innings, including three home runs, as the New York Mets beat the Twins 6-0 yesterday to take the rubber game of their three-game series at Citi Field.

The loss dropped the Twins' interleague record to eight-and-ten, their worst showing against National League teams since having the same record in 2005. The loss also dropped the Twins' lead in the AL Central to a half-game over Detroit, who beat Atlanta 10-4 and open a three-game series tonight at Target Field.

The Twins managed just seven hits off New York starter Jon Niese, while the Mets got home runs from Jeff Francoeur, David Wright and Ike Davis. The Twins went 3-6 on their road trip to three National League ballparks, dropping their record away from Target Field to 18-21.
