MINNEAPOLIS - Martell Webster arrives in Minnesota today to get together with Timberwolves coaches, administrators and players.

Webster was acquired last Thursday from Portland during the NBA Draft by the Wolves in exchange for 16th overall selection Luke Babbitt and forward Ryan Gomes. The 6-7 forward scored nine points per game for the Blazers last season, his fifth in the NBA.

Free agency begins on Thursday in the NBA, and the Wolves are already looking to keep center Darko Milicic. He came to the Timberwolves late last season and if he does sign, the Wolves indicate they would be willing to trade forward Al Jefferson. The Wolves are also trying to sign center Nikola Pekovic, who was taken in the second round of last year's draft and is playing in Europe.
