Twins keep falling, now in third place in AL Central
Minnesota Sports- The Twins fell to third place in the AL Central after losing to the Blue Jays 6-5 last night in Toronto. They're now a game-and-a-half behind division-leading Detroit, who beat Baltimore 4-2 to complete a three-game sweep.

The White Sox slipped ahead of the Twins with a 5-2 win over the Angels that kept Chicago one game out of first place. Three times the Twins took a lead over the Blue Jays last night, only to give it up the following half-inning.
Trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh, the Jays tied the score on a sacrifice fly by Alex Gonzalez and went ahead for good on an RBI double by Vernon Wells.
The Twins got home runs from Orlando Hudson and Delmon Young, but starting pitcher Kevin Slowey allowed nine hits in six and one-third innings, while Matt Guerrier gave up the go-ahead run in the seventh. The series in Toronto wraps up tonight, with the Twins then heading to Detroit for a three-game weekend set.
