ST. PAUL - The Wild dipped into the European free-agent market yesterday and signed German goaltender Denis Endras to a one-year contract.
Endras was MVP of the recent world championship tournament, where he picked up four wins and led all goaltenders with a one-point-one-five goals against average. He's the Wild's first free agent signee from Europe since they picked up goaltender Niklas Backstrom in 2006.
The Wild also re-signed former University of Wisconsin forward Robbie Earl to a one-year contract worth $550,000. Starting Wednesday, the Wild host a three-day camp for their prospects in Saint Paul.
