All D-SC softball team dotted with Pierce County players
Five prep softball players from Pierce County were chose for the first team, 2010 All Dunn-St. Croix Conference softball squad.

Repeating as one of the top pitchers in the league is Elmwood junior Kelsey Leach. She made first team All D-SC last year and this year tossed a perfect game in the second game of a doubleheader vs. Boyceville. She helped lead the Raiders to a second place finish in the league and had an ERA of 0.84 with 100 strikeouts.
Joining her from Elmwood on the first team are first baseman Renee Lehmann, the Raiders’ top batter with a batting average of .400, 26 hits and 19 RBIs, along with fellow senior Brittni Peterson, who was tabbed for the outfield.
Spring Valley-Plum City had two players on the first team, senior second baseman Bille Nelson and senior outfielder Molly Freund. She had the most number of hits (17) and RBIs (13) for the Cardinals.
A pair of catchers from Pierce County led off the second team, Elmwood junior Amanda Brunner and Spring Valley-PC freshman Megan Manor. Elmwood’s sophomore third baseman Christina McKune also made the second team.
Pierce County players who received honorable mention were SV-PC freshman
infielder Riley Harrison, Elmwood freshman Ali Pax and Spring Valley-Plum City junior Danielle Hartung, both outfielders.
