Twins win streak now at six as they edge White Sox again

- The Minnesota Twins have a six-game winning streak, after beating the Chicago White Sox 7-6 at Target Field.

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Twins have a six-game winning streak, after beating the Chicago White Sox 7-6 at Target Field.

The Twins scored three runs in the sixth inning to win it. Joe Mauer had four hits and finished a triple short of the cycle. Minnesota now has a season-high five game lead over second-place Chicago in the American League Central. And the Twins have won nine straight at Target Field.

Andruw Jones hit a three-run homer for the White Sox, who’ve lost four-in-a-row.
