MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers blew a two-run lead last night, and they fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 at Miller Park.

Milwaukee was up 3-1 in the fifth inning when James Loney hit a two-run single to put the Dodgers in front for good. Randy Wolf ended a personal three-game winning streak as he gave up four runs in five innings. The loss dropped him to 10-10. Hiroki Kuroda struck out six in seven innings to get the win. He’s now 9-11.

Andre Ethier hit a solo homer for the Dodgers, who’ve won three-of-their-last-four. Manny Ramirez, who was reportedly put on waivers, ended an 0-for-7 streak with two doubles, two walks, an RBI, and a run scored. Ryan Braun and Corey Hart both had run-scoring doubles for Milwaukee. Casey McGehee leads the Majors with 26 RBI’s this month, after he drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Prince Fielder had a run-scoring single for the Brewers’ other run.

Milwaukee is now eight games below .500. They’ll wrap up their three-game home series with the Dodgers this afternoon. Right-hander Yovani Gallardo will face Dodgers’ right-hander Carlos Monasterios.

Manny Parra has been demoted to the bullpen. Brewers’ manager Ken Macha said last night he would replace Parra with left-hander Chris Capuano starting on Saturday night at home against Pittsburgh. Parra is 0-5 in his last eight starts, and he’s 3-10 overall with a 5.65 ERA. Capuano started for Milwaukee until he injured his throwing elbow in 2008 and later had his second Tommy John elbow re-constructive surgery. He returned in the bullpen this season, and is 2-2 in 17 appearances with a three-point-seven-two ERA. He’s had two starts this year, and Macha says Capuano deserves some more starts as he makes his comeback. Parra will become a long reliever. Macha said Parra has struggled in the middle innings, and it’s a hurdle he’ll have to get over.
