Quilters from Pierce County and beyond will converge onto Pepin next weekend for the Laura Ingalls Wilder Quilt Show ‘n’ Sew at the Ingalls cabin, seven miles north of Pepin on CTH CC.

The show is from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. It is part of the 20th annual Laura Ingalls Wilder Days to be held throughout Pepin.

Visitors will be able to view original quilts and quilt blocks inspired by Ingalls’ storytelling in her books. They are also invited to try their hand at sewing patchwork pieces or win prizes by identifying quilt blocks based on Wilder’s stories.
