MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota football team continues to prepare for its home opener set for Saturday morning at TCF Bank Stadium against South Dakota.

Minnesota beat Middle Tennessee State last week 24-17 in the season opener.

Fans attending the first home game of the season will notice some procedural changes regarding the second-year stadium. The athletic department says feedback from crowd members last year resulted in some of the switches planned for this season.

Those changes include a new express entry for fans who will enter the game with no bags or purses, expanded entry at Gate C for all fans, additional portable concessions to lessen congestion at main stands, and a handful of new food offerings at the food stands.

The game Saturday kicks off at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
