Simones wins New Richmond Invite, Ellsworth boys second
Prescott's Victoria Simones won her first cross country race of the season at the New Richmond Invitational Thursday.
NEW RICHMOND - Prescott's Victoria Simones won her first cross country race of the season at the New Richmond Invitational Thursday.
Simones won the 4,000-meter race in 15:53.
Ellsworth's boys team placed three runners in the top 15 to finish second behind St. Croix Central, 81-85 with Amery third with 86 points.
EHS' Jaylen Pavloski was fifth, Matt Priest ninth and Ike Taplin 13th.
Prescott hosts its own invitational meet Tuesday at 4 p.m.
