MADISON - Las Vegas odds-makers say Wisconsin is a 38-point favorite over San Jose State in the Badgers’ home opener tomorrow at Camp Randall Stadium.

Kick-off is set for 11 a.m. and the game is being broadcast by ESPN.

The Badgers are coming off a 20-point victory at Nevada-Las Vegas, while the Spartans got crushed by top-ranked Alabama 48-3.

Sophomore linebacker Mike Taylor is expected to make his first start for Wisconsin since the middle of last season, when he tore an ACL ligament in his right knee. Josh Oglesby is keeping his starting right tackle spot, after getting a challenge this week from Ricky Wagner. Sophomore linebacker Chris Borland is not expected to play, after he aggravated a right shoulder injury last weekend. Coach Bret Bielema said Borland did not practice all week. And back-up quarterback Curt Phillips is not expected to play, as he recovers from a major knee injury.
