Doctors may have found cause for Harvin's migraines

- Vikings second-year receiver Percy Harvin may finally know what has been causing the migraine headaches that have effected him his entire life.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Vikings second-year receiver Percy Harvin may finally know what has been causing the migraine headaches that have effected him his entire life.

He says doctors think sleep apnea may spur the migraines because the condition can reduce the amount of oxygen that gets to the brain. So, Harvin has been sleeping with the assistance of an oxygen machine and says the migraines have disappeared since he began using the device.

He was diagnosed with sleep apnea during his hospital stay last month after he collapsed during a practice. He says doctors told him his heart stopped briefly while he was sleeping at the hospital. That tipped them off to the condition. The Vikings host Miami on Sunday.
