CHICAGO - The Minnesota Twins have a chance to deliver a knockout punch to the Chicago White Sox, when the two teams open a series tonight at U.S. Cellular Field on the South Side.
The second-place White Sox are six games behind the Twins in the American League Central with less than three weeks to play. Minnesota has gone 22-9 since August 10th, while Chicago has gone 16-15.
Francisco Liriano starts for the Twins tonight against John Danks.
